Welcome to Garron Farm

Garron is a peaceful South Pembrokeshire house, located on a quiet arm of the upper reaches of Milford Haven in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. It is a traditional stone built former farmhouse set in an acre of grassy, informal garden, ideal for family holidays.

Self-Catering Accomodation

 


  • 5 bedrooms, sleeping a maximum of 8, plus child’s travelcot.
  • One double with en suite bathroom, above the kitchen and up a separate staircase.
  • Upstairs in the main part of the house are four bedrooms: 1 twin with brass bedsteads, 1 twin with pine beds, and two single rooms.
  • Airing cupboard and family bathroom with bath and shower.
  • Bed linen is provided, but visitors should bring their own towels.


Farmhouse Kitchen


  • Oil fuelled Aga, electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and large table which can extend to seat 10. 
  • High chair available.
  • Adjacent to kitchen is the utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and Belfast sink.
  • There is also a downstairs cloakroom with loo and basin.


Sitting Room and Study

  • These are comfortably furnished rooms with wonderful views across the river. 
  • The sitting room has a wood burning stove, TV with DVD player  and an upright piano. 
  • The study is smaller, with an open wood fire.  Logs are provided for both the wood burning stove and the open fire. 
  • Both rooms have bookcases with books and games, together with books about the surrounding area and its history.
  • The house has its own telephone and internet access.


Garden and Grounds

  • There is a large paved terrace with garden furniture and low wall surround, looking south across the tidal river.
  • The remainder of the garden is informal, with cut grass and a small wicket gate to the foreshore below the house.  There is ample parking at the back of the house.


Fuel

  • Electricity, oil for the Aga, and firewood are included in the rent.
  • There are two electric storage heaters, one on the ground floor, and one on upstairs landing, as well as electric heaters in all the bedrooms and the bathrooms


Dogs

Up to two welcome, but not upstairs or on the furniture.

Changeover

Normally Friday, but individual arrangements can be made with the owners.
