Directions to Garron Farmhouse, Lawrenny, Pembrokeshire, SA68 0PU (Grid Reference SN 017078)

Take M4 to Severn Bridge. Then take M4 past Newport and Cardiff, and Swansea, all the way to end (Pont Abraham Services). Then follow A48 to Carmarthen.

From Carmarthen follow A40 to St Clears, and on towards Haverfordwest. (Best thing is to follow brown signs to Oakwood). Half a mile west of the village of Robeston Wathen, turn left onto A4075 towards Pembroke, (also signed to Oakwood). Go left at new roundabout (the entrance to the Bluestone site), and on past the entrance to Oakwood.

Three hundred metres past Oakwood entrance turn Right towards Martletwy and Lawrenny. Then follow signs to Lawrenny. In Lawrenny, turn right just below church, and follow narrow road up hill and out of the village.

After leaving village, go down steep hill, across tidal inlet. (Beware because this road can sometimes be flooded by high tides! See note below!). On far side of tidal inlet, Garron is a pale yellow house overlooking the inlet. Turn left up the drive (rather bumpy!) at bottom of hill where road starts uphill away from inlet.

Note: If tidal inlet road is flooded, go back to Lawrenny, out of the village on the same road you came in on. After 1 mile at first crossroads, turn left towards Coedcanlas. Follow road for half mile to first crossroads. Turn left towards Lawrenny. Follow narrow road for three hundred metres to edge of tidal inlet. Garron drive is on right at bottom of hill.
